About

I’m the founder of Contemplate, a mental fitness company that enables you to improve your clarity of thought and peace of mind using Contemplation - systematic self reflection and deep thinking - on certain key principles. We help leaders, employees, athletes, therapists, seniors, schools, and other communities improve and maintain their mental fitness. Out of my personal experience, experimentation and practice of Contemplation for about 15 years and after studying and training a few hundred minds, I have developed a framework for clarity of thought and peace of mind. This framework is called ADIOS - A Dialogue In Objective Silence. Contemplate uses the Adios framework and trains you to achieve mental fitness through a regular practice of Contemplation on the Adios principles and applying them in your daily personal and work life. Most people are not unwell. They are unclear. Here is the problem today: Because you live largely focused on the outside rather than inside, you lack a deep connection with yourself. This leads to a lack of internal clarity, because of which you make choices that appear exciting in the short term but are wrong in the long run. This leads to an agitated mind and stress. Contemplate solves these problems by training you on clarity and peace of mind. It can work stand alone or as an addition to therapy because it extends therapy to become 24x7 so the client also does some self reflection work on their own. This helps the therapist because now they can help the client continuously in between the therapy sessions without having to spend extra personal time with them. It helps the client because they can be clearer about their problems and play an active role in their therapy rather than only venting to their therapist or placing all responsibility of their betterment on their therapist. It is difficult to get better unless you do the work yourself. When you are mentally fit, you thrive at your work by being more connected with the values and vision of the organisation and being more engaged in your role. You thrive in your personal relationships because you are more thoughtful and caring, and not distracted and restless. The sum total is a more fulfilling and peaceful life.

  • Founder Decelerator trains business owners and senior management to mix going fast with going slow periodically, use a regular habit of Contemplation on Values, Vision and Culture to create an organization that is not just financially successful but also fulfilling and purposeful.
  • In the journey of running a business, you might feel tired of running fast all the time, or feel burnt out, or feel a lack of inspiration on how to get to your next growth curve with a fresh perspective, or feel that just something is missing even though all the metrics look not too bad. Contemplation helps you get out of that state of mind and provides you with a new door to walk through. It provides you with your next version of yourself.

  • Your quality of life is determined by how you feel.
  • How you feel is determined by the choices you make.
  • If you wish to feel fulfilled, purposeful and peaceful, you need to make the right choices.
  • To make the right choices, there are two prerequisites:
  • 1. You must be deeply connected with yourself
  • 2. You must have a personal, customized system that helps you make the right choices.
  • What's the problem?
  • The problem is that the world is noisy and distracting, so you might live your life looking outward most of the time rather than looking inward.
  • This is not your fault. It is mostly because the world today is scientifically designed and well funded to keep your attention outside, so it can be turned into money.
  • Because your attention is mostly outside, you are unable to create a deep connection with yourself (1st prerequisite above).
  • Because you lack a connection with yourself, you cannot create a personal, customized system that helps you make the right choices (2nd prerequisite above). If you don't know yourself deeply, how will you create this?
  • Due to this, you lack internal clarity.
  • So you make choices that seem exciting in the short run but are not right for you in the long run.
  • You choose a wrong partner.
  • You say or do things you shouldn't do in a relationship.
  • You choose the wrong work, or the wrong work environment.
  • Wrong choices lead to stress, anxiety and more restlessness.
  • The solution is a regular habit of Contemplation - deep thinking.
  • Contemplation helps you create a deep connection with yourself (1st prereq).
  • Contemplation on the principles we have created helps you create your personal system of making the right choices (2nd prereq).
  • Our Contemplation framework is called ADIOS - A Dialogue In Objective Silence.
  • It is a dialogue that you have with yourself, objectively, in silence. It is a conversation between two people - You and Yourself.
  • A regular conversation with yourself keeps you calm.
  • Start the conversation.
  • We can help.

  • With life becoming busy, sometimes we miss out on doing things that make us truly happy. ONE is a non-judgmental environment to enable you to pursue what you love - music, dance, theatre, writing, etc - because it nurtures your soul. The idea is to do what you love, because you love it, without worrying about how good you are or what others might say.

  • We specialise in designing, structuring and implementing ESOP Schemes.
  • We have been working with companies, listed and unlisted, start-ups, mid-sized and large industrial houses, across all sectors - aviation, media, telecom, pharma, banking, CRO, engineering, construction, manufacturing, IT, ITES, FMCG - helping them design, structure and implement their ESOP Schemes.
  • Contrary to what a lot of people believe, designing an ESOP Scheme is a fairly comprehensive exercise where you thoroughly answer questions like - who should get, why should they get, how much, over what period, what terms and conditions, should the conditions be different for different employee groups, how much equity should I dilute, what if the IPO does not happen, what if the markets go down, is there a magic in the 5% equity dilution that everyone seems to talk about, etc.
  • It is not just an ESOP Scheme. It is a system by which you are trying to make your team see, feel and behave the way you do it for your organisation. You are trying to create mini-entrepreneurs. You can't do such a thing in a hurry or, as some people suggest - "just copy and paste some other company's esop scheme". It is your company. They are your people. The Scheme needs to fit your company, your people, and that's what matters!
  • Specialties: Conceptualising, designing, impementation of ESOP Schemes. Especially, communicating to the people / recipients, the philosophy and motive behind such an exercise to ensure that they fully appreciate the objective and are able to align their goals with those of the organisation.
