Jasveer Singh, the founder & CEO of Waterfall Automation and an IIT Bombay alumnus, has become a beacon of innovation in the agritech sector, especially with the development of SICCA Automation. From 2018 to 2020, he worked with Mayank Gandhi of Global Parli NGO to significantly improve the livelihoods of drought-affected farmers in Marathwada, Maharashtra, by shifting their focus from traditional crops to horticulture. This initiative resulted in a substantial increase in farmers' incomes. To further deepen his understanding of the agricultural sector, Jasveer embarked on farming Moringa leaves between 2019 and 2022. This experience provided him with invaluable insights into the daily challenges of farmers, informing the development of SICCA's product features and marketing strategies. His hands-on approach ensured the creation of solutions that are not only innovative but also highly adaptable to the needs of the agricultural industry, addressing one of the biggest challenges in irrigation automation. In a remarkably short time, SICCA Automation has made a significant impact in the automation industry, garnering a strong reputation and a growing list of satisfied farmers in Maharashtra and beyond.   • The hardware/software co-design system is a type of system in which a CPU and an FPGA both breathe together and run in parallel to support each other to get more efficiency and productivity. Using open source RISC architectures like OpenRISC, CPU can be made synthesizable and if FPGA is made synthesizable then both can sit on a single ASIC to form a platform for hardware/software co-design system.
  • To enable users to simulate and test their hardware/software co-design, there is a need of hardware-software co-simulation platform. As a part of this, a "FPGA simulator" is built.
  • The architecture of N x N array FPGA for this platform is designed and developed in Verilog. A tool called VTR (Verilog-to-Routing) is used to develop a toolchain to compile, place and route users' design on this custom built N x N array FPGA. A layer to connect VTR and N x N array FPGA developed using Python script is used to supply the configuration bits from VTR to N x N array FPGA in the form of a bitstream.

  • Description :
  • The “FIN CONTROLLER SYSTEM” guides the missile to follow its predefined path and approach the target with accuracy. This will increase the efficiency of the armed force manifold.
  • The deflection of the fins of the missiles is controlled by using dedicated motion controller. This motion controller takes in the trajectory parameters from the autopilot unit and compares it with the feedback signal coming from optical encoder of the motors and generates an error signal. This error signal in PWM format drives the motors with the help of a motor driver circuit. The Host Controller is used to program the Precision Motion Controller.
