About

Post my two-year stint in Goldman Sachs as a financial analyst, I started up PeriFerry in 2017. Over the years, we built a self sustainable model to create meaningful & inclusive employment opportunities for trans persons. PeriFerry is a purpose driven organisation that deeply connects with the community, works on complex issues at the grassroots level. We not only help companies recruit trans persons but also create a culture of inclusion, acceptance and empathy for the LGBTQI+ community. PeriFerry aims to positively impact the massive one crore trans population in India and help create sustainable & inclusive livelihood. We're a Forbes 30 Under 30 2021 listed organisation. And have also set up non-profit entity to create large scale impact through skilling initiatives. Reach out to us at support@periferry.com for any of the below: 1. If your organization is looking at recruiting trans persons 2. Collaborate on trans person's upskilling programs - small & large scale, and setting up skilling centres 3. • Sensitized more than 85,000 employees nationwide through our innovative workshops, events, and carnivals.
  • Our trusted client base features leading organizations like Adobe, Accenture, ANZ Bank, Natixis, SPI Cinemas, ThoughtWorks, Walmart Labs, Vodafone, Goldman Sachs, Vindhya Infotech, and many more. These collaborations have been instrumental in fostering a culture of inclusion in workplaces across the country.
  • The positive impact of our work has been widely acknowledged, earning us recognition from leading media outlets and several prestigious awards, including:
  • Forbes 30 Under 30 (2021)
  • Community Business Asia Inclusion Award (2024)
  • 3M CII's Most Innovative Startup Award (2019)
  • Best Startup of the Year (2018) by JITO London
  • The name PeriFerry is inspired by the word "periphery," symbolizing individuals living on the margins of society. We see ourselves as facilitators - a "ferry" helping them navigate toward their aspirations and desired destinations.
