• Being at a cutting edge AI-driven data analytics startup, I wore many hats and worked at a fast pace on some of the most complex challenges I’ve faced as a designer. I designed product features that helped turn complex data into useful insights, built onboarding flows that resulted in decreased support team tickets, created email campaigns that boosted customer engagement, and even got reacquainted with my old friend, the foosball table.

• Designed improvements for performance dashboard websites that aim to measure the performance of Australian government services, promoting government transparency and driving the ongoing improvement of government services. This involved conducting user interviews, creating prototypes, usability testing and UI design.
• Also designed roadmaps to show the Australian Government’s plans for transforming government services. These roadmaps show the experience change that business and individual users can expect when engaging with government.

• Designed numerous successful products across website and mobile channels, planning the user experience from the ground up.
• Achievements:
• Created design system and component libraries for the William Hill website and apps which greatly improved consistency and efficiency across the design and development teams.
• Held design workshops which improved the team's technical skills and consistency working together.
• Designed the popular Spin and Win promotion which resulted in a significant uplift in revenue during large sporting events.

• I worked on a range of website and app projects while contracting at Qantas, planning the user experience from the ground up, from research and discovery all the way through to the final UI designs.
• Achievements:
• Designed a map search tool that empowered travellers to see where their Frequent Flyer points could take them. I started with a research and discovery phase, built prototypes, performed user testing, designed the visuals and worked with a development team to create this product.
• Refreshed the Qantas website homepage which resulted in a significant increase in the conversion rate of key metrics, greatly decreased loading times and an improved user experience.
• Worked on a responsive check-in app allowing travellers to check in to their flights quickly and easily from their mobile or desktop.

Nov 2012 – Nov 2014 · 2 yrs · Greater Sydney Area

• Created numerous successful product features, planning the user experience from the ground up. This included conducting research to define project requirements, sketching initial concepts, drawing wireframes, creating prototypes, user testing, designing the visuals of the UI, coding up the front end interface elements and working with developers to make the design a reality.
• Achievements:
• Designed Campaign Monitor's first iOS app from the ground up empowering email marketers to monitor their email campaigns and subscriber activity while on the go. This project included research and discovery, prototyping, user testing, UI design and working with offshore developers to make the app a reality. The app achieved thousands of downloads and some great customer feedback.
• Designed and developed (coding emails is super tricky) subscriber notification emails to help email marketers keep up to date with their subscriber activity. The notification emails satisfied user needs while also looking beautiful (like all Campaign Monitor products).
• Designed the segment builder tool which provides a simple yet powerful way for email marketers to send campaigns to specific groups of people who match certain rules and criteria.
• Beat King Kenny at table tennis. It was only once, but I'll remember it forever 😉 🏓

• Conceptualisation, design and development of a website templating system which was part of a website building application for businesses. Each website comprised a combination of blocks, templates, layouts, themes and colour schemes. The CSS Framework and dynamic web templates I created were pivotal parts of the application.
