• GroupScale was a US based dental supplies eCommerce aggregator. It allowed users to compare pricing of a product from various supplier websites at a single place. The user would provide his/her login credentials of supplier websites. Created tools to fetch personalized pricing for a user and add to cart on the supplier website from the groupscale platform itself.

• Flicksup is a content discovery social network with the usual features like allowing users to follow other people and pages, creating posts and commenting, liking, sharing on them, uploading images and embedding links and videos, managing lists and ratings. Based on user behaviour it detects user's interest and curates a feed based on it.
• Developed the front-end as a single page application with Backbone.js at its core and bootstrap for UI.
• Created the back-end in Python/Django with Neo4j and Postgres as its databases. The back-end implements a REST API with which the website and mobile app interact.
• Created an admin panel to manage the operations using ReactJS.
• Optimised Neo4j Cypher queries for maximum performance.
• Developed a Facebook like mentionable input box javascript library.
• Used celery to run periodic and async tasks. Redis for locking and caching.
• Designed the architecture of both backend and frontend to be highly scalable, extensible and secure.
• Setup AWS and Linode, handled server security, scaling challenges and setup processes to automate backups, code deployment, keeping SSL certificates up to date etc.
