After building my expertise at BDO Global and E&Y, I spent over a decade in various CFO roles navigating complex finance and strategy for large scale MNCs. In 2015, I founded M Strategy Global in Dubai (HQ), transforming my CFO insights into a leading strategy consulting firm in the GCC region. My firm specialised in M&A deals and strategizing business growth for early stage startups as well as large conglomerates. We have proudly served clients from 4 continents, and our team has employed CAs, MBAs and CFAs from 8 different nationalities, including UK, UAE, Slovenia, Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt, China and Bulgaria. The shift to angel investing was a natural evolution. Recognizing the immense potential in the founder community, I began investing my personal wealth in promising startups. I was a shareholder in the holding company of the Venture Catalysts Group, which has so far backed over 450 startups through a series of SEBI-regulated VC funds in India. Today, my passion for fueling innovation has extended to fostering female leadership with my shareholding in the holding company of InnovHer Accelerator Group based out of Jaipur (HQ), Rajasthan. I had the privilege of co-producing Horses Stable - Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (Winner Takes It All), India’s first-ever startup investment reality show, alongside Bollywood superstar Mr. Suniel Shetty. Four seasons of the show successfully streamed on major platforms (Aaj Tak, MX Player & Jio). My media presence continued as I was invited to serve as an investor on a similar reality show, Kal Ke Krorepati (Millionaires of Tomorrow), streaming on Jio Hotstar. During India’s presidency of G20, I was honoured to be the Chief Mentor for G20 StartUp Yatra. This flagship program of the Ministry of External Affairs involved a charter train journey leading 500 students and entrepreneurs from G20 countries to meet role models and social entrepreneurs across Tier 3 Indian towns, under the guidance of Hon. MP Mr. Shashank Mani Tripathy. One of my life’s privileges include being a serving Trustee and a member of the Governing Council of the Community Aid & Sponsorship Program (CASP). CASP has made a significant impact by providing healthcare facilities to over 30,000 underprivileged patients and supporting the school education of more than 10,000 deserving children. Throughout my journey, life has given me one valuable lesson - true ambition has no boundaries, geographical or otherwise. The hunger and the fire to build something is the same in a small towner from Africa or a techie in America.
