Pratekk Agarwaal is a seasoned entrepreneur & operator , boasting over 20 years of multi-industry experience in setting up and scaling successful businesses, with a focus on the financial services domain. Before launching the early stage fund , GrowthCap Ventures , he has held key positions with leading fintech and NBFCs such as Bajaj Finance, Fullerton, IndoStar Capital, ftcash, and BharatPe. Pratekk is the Founder & General Partner at GrowthCap Ventures . In his current role , Pratekk leads the early stage fund and works closely with the portfolio founders as an operator and extends his deep network in the financial services, payments, insurance, fintech ecosystems, FMCG, Pharma, and IIMK Alumni network to the portfolio companies to help with GTM , Product roadmap , VC connect , demand and supply (equity and debt). Pratekk has a ground-up understanding of fintech, NBFC, insurance, financial inclusion, and agritech businesses, having served in senior roles managing sales, product, GTM, partnerships, risk, compliance, and collection teams. He has launched and managed products covering secured and unsecured lending across rural and urban customer segments, including LAP, consumer lending, MSME, SMB, POS, and supply chain finance.
