About

I’ve spent my career building at the intersection of email, technology, and community. From co-founding one of the UK’s first ISPs to leading global deliverability at Campaign Monitor and Emailvision, I’ve seen email evolve from its earliest days to the AI-powered systems we rely on today. Along the way I founded emailexpert, launched international conferences, published industry-first interviews with Gmail, and helped connect thousands of professionals across the ecosystem. Alongside operational roles, I have been actively sharing along the way and operate as community builder. I’ve spoken at major industry forums including M3AAWG, ESPC, Email Evolution, and others across North America, Europe, China and Australia. My publication emailexpert.org was the first to secure an authorised interview with a Gmail anti-spam engineer, and I facilitated the first direct forum between Google and commercial senders. Since 2008, emailexpert has grown into a global hub for professionals in deliverability, compliance, and email technology. Together with Nailya “Nely” Bonar Mukhamedzhanova, I’ve launched international conferences such as Inbox Expo (endorsed by Steve Wozniak and now owned by Ziff Davis), the Deliverability Summit, and the Festival of Email. My expertise bridges the technical and operational foundations of email - authentication, reputation, infrastructure, with broader leadership in publishing, event creation, and business growth. I have built and scaled companies, automated complex processes, and applied emerging technologies such as AI and agentic systems to real-world challenges. As a publisher and community organiser, I continue to convene global audiences, set industry conversations, and connect professionals across the ecosystem
