• During 2022-'24, this AgriEnIcs program focuses on five key projects as mentioned below. Through grand challenges and strategic study, the future projects are getting defined.
• 1. Integrated HW-SW framework for appearance-based Quality Assessment of 15 select agricultural products (crops/ vegetables/ spices) as per requirement of eNAM.
• 2. A custom six degrees of freedom manipulator of adjustable height and a multi-sensory gripper equipped with a vacuum suction pad device for Apple Harvesting.
• 3. IoT framework for cattle health monitoring towards early disease prediction and also heat detection in cattle for artificial insemination. IoT analytics for Smart Dairy Management.
• 4. Detection of vital poultry environment parameters that affect chicken health. Also, acoustic analysis to monitor incubation, thermal stress and predicting growth.
• 5. Development of electronics instruments for monitoring of environment pollutants generated from Mining and Cement industries. This project has successfully done a Tech Transfer to MSME.
