Purnima Manghnani — AI Researcher
It all started in high-school, I knew I wanted to do science. 10 years later, I was given the opportunity to earn a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the National University of Singapore. I was introduced to a magnificent world of nanomedicine, polymer chemistry, zebrafish and fluid dynamics. My scientific journey so far, has pushed me into diverse fields making me somewhat an inter-disciplinary researcher. It has taught me to fail quickly and recover. Post PhD, I was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions researcher at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Genoa. I worked with microfluidic platforms for drug delivery and 3D printing applications. Currently, I am developing pharmaceutical-hydrogel formulations using microfluidic techniques at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology. I am interested in drug delivery, formulation process development, and the formulation-biology interface. If your interests align with mine, or you want to chat about science, scuba-diving or food, let's connect!
