I currently serve as a Digital Videos Editor for BBC News, overseeing video content creation and growth for six Indian languages. In this role, I’ve led the expansion of BBC’s presence on social media platforms, driving engagement and reach. My career began at NDTV, where I started as a trainee journalist, eventually becoming a researcher and producer for ‘Primetime’, the most popular Hindi TV news show, hosted by Ravish Kumar. I transitioned into field reporting before stepping into the role of anchor at NDTV. In 2017, I joined BBC, marking the beginning of my journey in digital media, where I worked my way up to become an Editor. I utilize technology and data analytics, including tools like Google Analytics, to drive content strategy and performance. With expertise in news writing, team leadership, and all levels of video production, I continuously strive to innovate in today’s fast-evolving media landscape.
