• KIIT Aero is the official team of KIIT University which represents the University and India at International competition SAE Aero Design West held in USA. This year team participated at SAE Aero Design West 2014 held at Fort Worth, Texas, USA from 28th -30th March 2014.
• The team presented two models:
• An Advance Class Model, an efficient aircraft with large wingspan capable of accurately dropping a
• three pound (3 lb) humanitarian aid package from a minimum of 100ft off the ground.
• I especially work on On Screen Display components and sensors for the real-time data acquisition from the aircraft such as Airspeed, Altitude, GPS, Gyroscopic assistance and wireless video transmission (FPV) from the plane.
• Micro Class Model, a light weight small-sized hence portable UAV capable of carrying
• the highest payload fraction while simultaneously pursuing the lowest empty weight possible. I
• work on the electronics and fabrication of the model.
