Social Work Intern

Jan 2023 – Mar 2023 · 2 mos · Pune, Maharashtra, India · On-site

  • During my field work at CYDA (23rd January 2023 to 3rd March 2023), I encountered both successes and challenges that shaped my personal and professional growth.
  • Challenges:
  • Struggled with time management, daily updates, and report-making.
  • Unfinished planned tasks impacted the overall workflow.
  • Achievements:
  • Gained valuable insights into the community, especially the kids and their educational levels.
  • Understood the mentality of people involved with the NGO.
  • Developed self-awareness and reflected on my personal growth.
  • Outcomes:
  • Mobilized 30-40 entries for registration for sessions at different CRC's.
  • Successfully enrolled 4 individuals to the YRC.
  • Helped register 40-50 people for BOCW (Building and Other Construction Workers) scheme.
  • Documented the BOCW registration process.
  • Enhanced understanding of STEM education and contributed to a STEM module.
  • Built strong bonds with the kids and youth in the community.
  • Self-Feedback:
  • Focus on professionalism and clear communication.
  • Embrace humility and approach tasks as an intern, not with arrogance.
  • Others acknowledged my areas for growth, self criticism by agreeing with my self-reflections.

Career break

Personal goal pursuit

Apr 2022 – Present · 3 yrs 11 mos

  • Took a conscious break from the corporate world to pursue personal goals and social impact initiatives. During this period, I’ve been:
  • Building Pravartak, focused on rural empowerment through education, organic farming, and sustainability.
  • Deepening my understanding of grassroots development and public policy.
  • Exploring inner growth, creative storytelling, and community building.
  • This journey has strengthened my purpose, leadership, and adaptability—preparing me for meaningful impact ahead.

Tibco

QA Engineer

Oct 2016 – Apr 2022 · 5 yrs 6 mos · Pune India

  • During my time at TIBCO [ 3rd October 2016 to 22nd April 2022 ], I collaborated closely with testers and senior testers to ensure that quality testing and effective bug reporting were maintained throughout the product’s testing process.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Wrote and maintained detailed test cases to support software development and quality assurance efforts.
  • Created and maintained test data to simulate real-world use cases for thorough testing.
  • Designed, coded, tested, and executed test case scenarios, ensuring comprehensive validation of features.
  • Analyzed test results to identify defects, isolate issues, and work towards timely resolutions.
  • This role not only enhanced my technical abilities but also played a key role in boosting my confidence. It allowed me to achieve financial independence, helping me clear loans and buy things I had never desired. It was also a great environment for building both temporary and permanent relationships with colleagues, many of whom are now friends. I learned the unique company culture where colleagues, regardless of their seniority, are on a first-name basis, and a collaborative atmosphere thrives.
  • The work environment was dynamic, with a balance of completing tasks on time and enjoying moments of relaxation, such as playing pool with colleagues not only during breaks. This experience helped me understand the importance of work-life balance and professional camaraderie with every release of product giving us outdoor pool parties experience once in year and dining at different Barbecue's . Dont take your work to home...It sucks.
