• Baxter is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry with expertise in manufacturing and research technologies related primarily to the human circulatory system. My internship was with its Marketing Team. The main aim of this activity was to convert non-Viaflex users to Viaflex users. The specific skills obtained included:
• Communicating with doctors and nursing staff, explaining to them the advantages of Viaflex as an advanced intravenous fluid,
• Conducting a marketing exercises for a ‘’super slogan contest’’ for Viaflex. To follow-up with various doctors and paramedical staff across the country for their participation in the contest and collect their feedback in the form of slogans.
• To shortlist the best slogans in order to produce a brochure for promoting increased use of Viaflex.
• To develop recall value merchandise – for neck rest cushions; pens with the Viaflex brand name. Ensure timely receipt of merchandise and its distribution.

• Optaamaze is a company, which amongst other areas of work specializes in mentoring services for students including career counseling, training, recruitment as well as VAS for students from various colleges across India. Optaamaze is a bridge between the students’ community and the industry and aims to meet the challenges at both ends and provide a mutually beneficial service for both. The skills I developed were:
• Interact with the student community in various colleges and enroll them for the various skills set up-gradation programs offered by Optaamaze.
