Shree Jhanwwee Kanumuru — Software Engineer

I'm a backend developer who loves building things that actually work. I studied Computer Science with a focus on AI/ML at IIIT Bangalore, and honestly, that's where I discovered I really enjoy the puzzle-solving aspect of software engineering. My career path has been pretty interesting - started with an ML internship at Uber, dabbled in frontend stuff, and now I'm at Zinc Money, a fintech startup where I'm basically doing everything from coding to talking to vendors. It's been a wild ride, but I've learned so much about how the whole business side works, not just the technical stuff. At Uber, I got really good at building scalable backend systems with Golang and SQL. But at Zinc Money, I've had to step up even more - I'm architecting our payment platform, figuring out how to integrate with AD2 partners for international transfers, and building accounting systems from scratch. It's been challenging but super rewarding. What I think makes me different is that I can adapt quickly and take ownership of projects. Whether it's learning new technologies or understanding business requirements, I can jump in and figure things out. My startup experience has taught me to think beyond just writing code - I need to understand why we're building something and how it fits into the bigger picture. I'm always looking for new challenges and I'm definitely open to moving for the right opportunity.
