Nick is the head of research and trading for a proprietary research and analytics led digital assets trading firm. Highly motivated and creative individual with a track record of taking research ideas from first principles and finding practical and completely novel mathematical solutions that can then be developed into commercial systems targeted at offering significant improvements over the current state of the art. This has been expressed in the development of real time automated quantitative trading systems and end to end technology platforms alongside integrated risk, reconciliation and reporting solutions in support of business activities and trading operations. Worked in managed futures from 2000 with a trading suite comprised of 5 systems with a combined Sharpe Ratio of 2.3 and a capacity of over $1B and hold times 1 hour to 3 months. Since 2017, he has been working in the crypto sector originally working on longer term active and smart beta strategies but most recently focusing on HFT and market making alongside yield farming opportunities in the crypto space and making 10-15% a month for a prop firm.
