• Completed a year-long project as a part of my IDDDP thesis under Prof. Amit Sethi (Department of EE, IIT Bombay). A few highlights were:
• 1. Explored divergence in probability measures, reducing domain discrepancies using domain adaptation with CNN and Transformer architectures, and described a novel “transport loss” to improve accuracy on benchmark datasets (Office-Home,Office31) and on a medical image dataset (FHIST).
• 2. Researched Moment-Matching methods, Optimal transport methods and Adversarial methods to reduce domain discrepancy, and the effects of metric learning losses (Island loss, Fischer loss) on learning tasks.
• 3. Explored meta-optimization tasks to synchronize domain alignment and classification tasks
