• Contributed significantly to rebuilding the L1 driver stack by re-engineering and debugging core driver components, which helped fix critical performance issues in ethtool.
• Implemented and tested key modules for the in-house OMCI protocol stack.
• Developed a Python utility to automate file transfers between ONU boards and host PCs, eliminating manual setup & configurations and significantly improving debugging efficiency.
• Helped build and maintain the core Linux infrastructure for ONU development by managing build scripts and setting up development environments.
• As part of the systems team, was responsible for diagnosing and fixing kernel-level bugs and traffic issues using packet analysis and GDB.
• Utilized Valgrind and Coverity to proactively detect, analyze, and resolve critical memory, concurrency, and security vulnerabilities in the codebase.
• Conducted rigorous functional and high-volume traffic testing to validate ONU performance and ensure carrier-grade stability.
