• I am working in Wide Area Measurement Systems( WAMS) Analytics, a URTDM project funded by Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL).
• Power grid is a Cyber Physical System environment wherein power grid components are interconnected by communication network and Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs).
• PMUs are key component used as IEDs/sensors use to give measurement data with very high data rate.
• to data concentrators known as PDCs. PDCs are responsible for processing to PMU data frame and time alignment.
• My contributions are in the project:
• 1. Design and develop WAMS analytics.
• It is implemented in C++,QT
• 2. Integration of WAMS analytic with Phasor Data Concentrator (PDCs), PMUs.
• (iPDC is an opensource software implemented in C containing PMU, PDC and DB server)
• 3. Study of communication systems, communication protocol for data transfer, analysis of communication latency etc.
