• Organized the J.P Morgan Quant Challenge in collaboration with JP Morgan Chase in September 2020 which is a two-part competition focusing on algorithmic programming of quant strategies and derivative modeling.
• In collaboration with Vinod Gupta School of Management organized a seminar on CFA headed by Mr. Vidhu Shekhar, Country Head at CFA Institute in India. The seminar focused on various types of CFA programs, their advantages, future prospects and application process.
• In collaboration with WazirX, India’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, Finance Club, IIT Kharagpur conducted a webinar in September 2020 on the fundamentals of Blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and Bitcoin in particular.
• Organized an interactive competition with dStreet.games which is an all-in-one stock market gaming platform. The platform is similar to Dream11 of the investor's Community.
• Tied up with InvestingHub for a 3-month free membership for the students of IIT Kharagpur. The membership gives access to the following, presented by one of India’s best fund managers and analysts on a weekly basis-
• o Thoroughly researched live case studies
• o High conviction, actionable investment ideas
• o Different approaches to analyzing a business and valuation methodologies

• Conducted a webinar in October 2020 on Quantitative Finance and prospective career options in the US headed by Mr. Yashovardhan Jallan, an IIT KGP alumnus, dual MS-Quantitative and Computational Finance and Computational Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
• Organized a mock crypto trading competition in July 2020 in collaboration with Roostoo, a cutting-edge start-up from the University of Southern California in the USA.
• Conducted an Internship Bootcamp in March 2021, in collaboration with Students' Welfare Committee, Technology Students' Gymkhana, IIT Kharagpur.
• Initiated a biweekly blog on concepts revolving around corporate finance, assets and financial markets.

• Conducted Winter School of Finance in December 2019 to provide a detailed overview of the career paths in Finance and preparation strategies for each of them for the entire KGP undergraduate community and final year students in particular.
• Organized Finance Bootcamp for final and pre-final year students in collaboration with Career Development Centre, IIT Kharagpur headed by IIT KGP alumni from firms such as Capital One Data Labs, EY Parthenon and DSP Investment Managers.
• Finance Club, IIT Kharagpur in collaboration with Finance Club IIT Bombay organized a workshop on investing and personal finance in April 2020 focusing primarily on Fundamental Analysis, various financial valuation techniques and tools, various screening tools and indicators for assessing business quality.

• Applied Black Scholes Model to NIFTY50 options and index futures for the past 365 days to calculate the theoretical value of the options using various parameters.
• Calculated the real and applied volatility and plotted the ’Volatility Smile by using real underlying values and discounted future closing prices respectively using the FBIL maturity trade interest rates and obtained ’moneyness’ for all values using the GBS Options library in R.
• Designed a risk management strategy by calculating and analyzing various sensitivities and hence obtained the options to long and short respectively for both call and put types.
