I completed an enriching internship at Amazon, where I worked on a project aimed at enhancing the customer's payment journey. The goal was to reduce the number of clicks required to reach the checkout page during bill payments, thereby making the process quicker and more efficient.
I worked on improving the payment experience to the IN Gateway, enabling customers to pay their bills directly on the homepage via a bottom-sheet experience, eliminating the need for multiple page redirections. This aimed to significantly improve the user experience and reduce drop-offs.
During this internship, I honed my technical skills, and worked extensively with Kata, AUI, Typescript, Java, and various design patterns. Additionally, I developed my soft skills and learnt valuable leadership principles.
