• Worked on various features to increase the value and reduce the operational cost of ThoughtSpot (search-based analytics software).
• Designed & implemented a high throughput service to log the user impressions / activity. This was used for cache warming (performance) and improving the search relevance across the product.
• Redesigned the architecture for downloading reports. Designed a more robust, highly available microservice to handle all report generation with the underlying principle of "what you see is what you get". Lead to significant reduction in product gaps and support tickets in this area.
• Made continuous improvements to objects upgrader in terms of performance (time taken) and debuggability (generate step-wise reports). Achieved zero-downtime upgrade in a hackathon project with a small, predictable write-downtime.
