  • Investment Process
  • Trend Identification: Trend is identified on the basis of price moving up/down relative to X no of days. It is further divided into shorter and longer term trends. Also there is a special element which weights a series of continuous up/down days irrespective of main trend.
  • Volatility quantification: Volatility is quantified on the basis of ATR and given its nature of sudden change during gap days or getting squeezed in a dead market, it is used as dual variable.
  • V/OI Profile: Volume and Open Interest is used as an additional input to check directional sentiments
  • RANKING: Ranking is the most important phenomenon which helps us to decide which script to prefer in case of overlapping signals. On any signal day, a script is assigned rank among 1 to 20 depending on the pattern strength.
  • Money management: Given the asymmetrical nature of our system which makes sure that we are fully loaded in a trend and minimally loaded during whipsaws give us ample scope for re-entry and pyramiding.
  • Entry & Scaling: On any given day rank among 1 to 10 suggests most favorable spot to enter or line of least resistance.
  • Profit locking & Exit: For shorter term trend EOD SL is used (which is function of daily volatility) and in case of longer trend, dynamic long term ATR SL is used thus catching the major part of the trend.
  • Each parameter we have mentioned here is extensively researched and mathematically quantified and coded to avoid emotional pitfalls in trading. We further generate and test new ideas as market conditions and volatility shifts.
