• Credit Research Initiative (CRI) was launched in the aftermath of financial crises. Predicts Default Risk for more than 68000 public listed firms and a suite of risk parameters for industry and regions on a daily basis
• My role was to examine the abnormal jumps in the Probability of default and automation of the validation mechanism. Over a period of 3 months, I performed the following tasks:
• Collaborated to build a model to predict default probability of over 68,000 public listed firms with 64% efficiency using financial statements data
• Initiated and developed an algorithm in Julia language to retrieve and plot credit risk history of a user-defined portfolio taking Bloomberg ticker as input
• Performed bottom-up analysis of over 100 companies across the globe to specify the variation in financial variables responsible for the jump in default risk
• Developed stress testing algorithms and compared the impacts of Demonetization and GST implementation on the default risk of 216 Indian SME firms

• This is my second research work in financial market analysis sector. I analyzed Asset Pricing models for Indian stocks and incorporated an"entropy factor" to make the asset pricing models more robust. Performed efficiency tests like Fama-Macbeth analysis, GRS-F statistic test and r-squared analysis. The entire program for the analysis is freely available on github. • Analyzed the correlation between foreign investments and market volatility for developing economies. Worked on time-series data of the variables, performed stationary tests, and developed predictive models. The result concluded the rise in volatility with foreign inflows for economies having high exposure to FII's. Results can be insightful for domestic traders, policymakers and foreign investors.
• Ultimately the research was presented at India Finance Conference-2018, at IIM-Calcutta under the CFA award category.
