Ehsan Panahi — Data Scientist

I have over 4 years of experience work in data science and software engineer. Currently, I work in a self-managed technical team at Shahab Financial Group, where we design, implement, test and analyze algorithm trading strategies work in Forex market. I'm deeply passionate about statistical analyzing and discover unseen relations in the Forex market. Defining practical problems based on quantitative approach and trying to solve it, is a very exciting adventure for me. Problems like finding profitable entry/exit points in the market, risk management and portfolio optimization are my favorites in the Forex. Before Shahab, I worked at Sunich as a data scientist in a 4-person team. Sunich is a distribution company that has more than 20 branches in Iran. We developed a VRP model for distributing. The model led to reduce 30+ man hours a day from whole of the company. Distribution time reduced about 15% and the number of the distribution route reduced about 5% in a day. We also developed a user-friendly dashboard for reporting and modifying the output of the VRP model. Outside of work, I love adventure. I like to traveling, climbing and camping in the nature.
