With over 14 years of experience in the ed-tech industry, I have a passion for teaching and mentoring students and professionals who aspire to excel in the tech world. My journey started from a humble background and a tier-3 engineering college, where I faced many challenges and insecurities to achieve my dream job. After cracking IIT and working for a top US-based software company, I realized the need to help millions of students who struggle with the same issues. I quit my lucrative tech job and started GeeksforGeeks as a blog in 2008, with the intention of helping engineering students prepare for placements. Since then, I have curated and taught courses like DSA and CIP, and helped thousands of students get placed in tech giants like Amazon, Google, Meta, Apple, Microsoft, and many more. GeeksforGeeks has grown into a global community of over 20 million registered users, who benefit from the rich and diverse content, practice problems, contests, and courses on various topics related to computer science. My vision is to build a gigantic network of geeks and connect them with top tech recruiters, to create an ecosystem that is beneficial for both employers and job seekers. In a short span of time, we have built a job portal and partnered with companies like Uber, Ola, Amazon, Caratlane, and more. This has helped place over 2000 candidates in their dream companies, and made hiring hassle-free for HR-techs.
