As an Associate at Morgan Stanley, I work on the FX Options Trading desk within the Fixed Income Division, where I actively contribute by facilitating live trading, executing pre and post-trade lifecycle processes and helping manage the Firm's risk, among others. I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India's leading Engineering Institute, with a dual degree in Engineering Physics and Data Science in May 2023. During my studies, I gained a strong foundation in math, programming, and electrical engineering and practical experience applying data science and machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems. I interned at APT Portfolio, a high-frequency trading firm in their Engineering Division. I also interned at McGill University, where I researched the correlation between physiological data and MRI images using image processing techniques. I have an unwavering passion for technology and mathematics and how they can be used to create value and solve real-world challenges. While my initial focus was on Signal Processing and Data Science, my trajectory has seamlessly transitioned towards Finance and, more so, the above applications in Finance. Using my quantitative and analytical skills to address trading challenges to create value is what excites me. I enjoy learning new things and staying updated on current affairs in my free time. I always look to tackle new challenges and expand my knowledge base.
