• Started out with objective of creating a new investment product class in the medium frequency trading space to trade volatility using quantitative methods, for mass affluent audience. Later decided to pursue it with private capital instead, to preserve information arbitrage.
• Experimented with more than 150 models to run across direct equity, futures and options product classes of Indian capital markets, with objective to optimize four key factors: bet size, bet direction, bet stride and bet confidence.
• Built underlying trading infrastructure: using Zerodha’s Kite Connect APIs for tick-by-tick data consumption, ability to roll-up ticks to custom definitions (not just OHLC candles), tick-by-tick data replaying while backtesting, realtime order execution with Zerodha kite, risk management engine etc.
• Might continue this as a passion project instead of full fledged product / start-up.

• Oversaw efforts on rider facing app to enhance retention and deeper-in-the-funnel milestones.
• Built an experimental distributed mobile computing platform with an objective to supplement delivery riders' earnings in exchange of compute / network resources of their mobile devices. Explored use cases around scraping, data labelling, VPN etc using this infrastructure.
• Experimented with local on-device based auto-dialer mechanism to boost partner tele-caller productivity.
• Helped scale CRM and predictive dialling based tooling for company's internal calling ops.
• Overall, being at an early stage startup, led the engineering team to operate in a setting of chaos and ambiguity; with time-to-market as the north star matrix.

• Led the team to build upon and scale a blue-collar equivalent of ATS to cater to recruitment and staffing engagements. This became the backbone of Vahan-Leader programme.
• Built plethora of tooling using Google App Script, low-code + no-code tools and forks of open source projects. Primarily to be used by internal teams.

• Started the product engineering practice; built any and all technical capabilities demanded by the business.
• Built Wealthfy, a premier wealth management solution, from scratch.
• Implemented it at top private banks (on the likes of H, I, B, K etc) and wealth advisories (on the likes of II, WA, EWM etc) in India.
• Re-engineered the product to set footprint in SEA, ME and EU as per the business and regulatory needs of those markets.
• Built a wealth back-office system on top of Wealthfy.
• Contributed towards building finzipp.com, Valuefy's B2C platform for online mutual fund investments.
• Contributed towards building thefundoo.com, a screening + comparison platform for mutual fund instruments in India.
• Overall, helped the organisation to scale the team from 50 to 170 members, participated in enterprise sales, solutioning, delivery, establishing people and technology processes.
• Wrote ~250k lines of code during my tenure here.

• The vision behind this concept was to disrupt the conventional form based surveys and survey analytics space.
• With this capability, market research companies or startups could validate their ideas, analyse markets and test waters beforehand by considering end users' opinions.
• A sample use case: you want to launch a new clothing line for young urban women but are unsure if it will be liked.
