I have 13+ years of experience working as a developer for various Enterprise grade storage solutions, and also on a storage protocol (NFS). I have worked on 3 different kernels (Linux, Non-Stop Kernel, ESXi Kernel), and pre-dominantly code in C language, while having great exposure to C++, Python and Shell Scripting. My team and I at Broadcom help enterprise customers expand storage without expanding compute on both on-premise and cloud deployments, by supporting and enhancing NFS client on ESXi platform. Using the NFS client, customers can add existing storage from their NAS arrays, eliminating the need to add additional compute to their clusters. My day-to-day work involves debugging issues from customers and internal QA team, adding features to NFS client, and enhancing existing features to meet the needs of customers and partners.

I worked on American Megatrends India Private Limited (AMI) in StorTrends product. The storage division was then spun off from AMI with few other products to form an independent company called Amzetta Technologies.
During my tenure at AMI, I have developed support for caching sub block IO in SSD Cache, which improved performance for VDI solutions running on top of StorTrends.
I have developed a monitoring service, which posts events about the health of the SSD Cache so that customer can address probable failures much earlier.
I have also developed a per volume SSD cache profile, which enabled customers to specify cache profile on a need basis.
I have re-written state change alogrithm to accomodate additional pairs of disks for SSD cache
I have also developed features, which the customers can make use of without any down time like runtime modification of SSD cache size, online SSD cache expansion, hot plug (software layer) of SSD drives, online addition of SSD cache to an existing storage container.
Apart from developement, I have debugged and fixed issues related to synchronization, kernel panics, soft lockups and segmentation faults (user mode).
I have mentored 2 juniors, who have later excelled at their role.
