Previously, I worked at Google, where I integrated an AI model to create and recommend short bumper ads for customers, and at ShareChat, where I developed AI-powered solutions and large-scale distributed systems. At Tripadvisor, I focus on integrating AI models to auto-select cover photos for hotel page albums. I also optimized the billing system, increasing revenue by $2M. My contributions earned me Tripadvisor’s Engineering Hero Award and ShareChat’s Rookie Rockstar Award. Designed and implemented the Auto Selection of Cover Photos feature, which uses a machine learning model to assign a score and select the prospectively most engaging photo as an album cover for 100K+ photo albums across Tripadvisor hotel pages. Upgraded the billing system to generate invoices for ad spends to all 20K+ Tripadvisor hotel partners on the
1st day of each month. Enhanced the daily spend limit of campaigns dynamically to increase annual revenue
margin by ∼ $2M (∼ 2% for the product).
Adhering to the organizational timeline for data center decommissioning, re-architected the on-prem Jobs architecture and migrated 100+ jobs from legacy to a modernized architecture on AWS.
