• Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is an initiative by the Govt. of India to leverage the technical know-how of educational institutes and apply it in the rural milieu. Under the initiative of UBA, a nearby village of Meerpur has been adopted for the implementation of various social and structural reform initiatives.
• UBA has undertaken over many initiatives in the span of 4 years across themes like Employment, Healthcare, Education, Renewable Energy, Agriculture, Safe Water amongst others.
• Leading a 100-member strong team, I am the currently the executive of this team and work for the development of this village Meerpur.
• My major contributions have been:
• Member of pond rehabilitation team responsible for the ecological restoration of the village pond
• Cattle Vaccination Camp in village Meerpur. Around 430+ cattle were vaccinated. The aim of the camp was the vaccination of cattle against Foot and Mouth Diseases(FMD), which may affect their health severely.
