My journey from being an Artist --> Musician --> Software Engineer --> Entrepreneur ⚡️ Born in a remote village in Bihar, I had to spend my childhood in boarding schools and with relatives far from my family due to the lack of schools in my village. ⚡️ Since childhood, I had an interest in drawing and won multiple awards at district and state-level competitions. ⚡️ Later, I developed an interest in musical instruments and was one of the best congo players in my school until class 10. ⚡️ 2016 - Realized that musical instruments and drawing had limited future prospects, so I chose Math after class 10 and started preparing for the IIT-JEE rat race. (I also had an interest in math) ⚡️ 2018 - Cleared JEE on my first attempt and got into IIT Guwahati CSE. ⚡️ 2018 - 2021 - Participated in another rat race, preparing for software engineering jobs, and secured an internship at Sprinklr for the summer of 2021. ⚡️ 2021 - Converted my internship to a PPO. ⚡️ 2022 - Joined Sprinklr as a Product Engineer. ⚡️ 2024 - Left Sprinklr as Lead Product Engineer and started my own Startup Matiks. Currently, I am the co-founder and CTO at Matiks. Our vision is to make math a sport. Math is essential for everyone, but not everyone enjoys it. Most people study it only for exams. However, if you become comfortable with numbers and basic calculations, you'll develop a love for math. At Matiks, we are gamifying basic math. By playing games, you will develop a strong affinity for numbers and basic calculations, which will eventually help you in competitive exams and real life. Fun Fact: Even biology students started developing there interests in Maths after playing some games on Matiks.
