With over 28 years of experience in commodities trading, I am Entrepreneur at heart and fortunate enought to manage Rice business as Global Head. Along with this key responsibities I am also the Regional Head - South East Asia managing Countries operations. My core competencies include managing P&L, managing and building reliable partners, launching new products, making country entry strategies and delivering sales, building production capabilities with efficient supply chain. With passion for commodity trading I have been able to develop business strategy in global agriculture commodities trading, fertilizer trading, distribution of agriculture products in multiple countries. I have successfully introduced global consumer-facing and bulk service brands in food business, scaled up start-ups, sustained business models, managed large-scale operations, and mitigated risks across diverse geographies and cultures. I have also been recognized by ICAR, Tata Group, Olam International, and Mahindra Agri Business for my innovative and impactful interventions in agri supply chain. I am passionate about learning, challenging the status quo, teaching, mentoring, and motivating teams to achieve excellence. I hold a Master in International Business from IIFT, an Executive Education from Ross School, and multiple certifications in commodity trading and corporate law. Key success for me lies in working with multi-cultural team whether its Africa, Asia, Europe, America or Oceania I have worked in teams with diverisified team members.
