• Lead Backend Engineer(Backend + data) in Qubole’s control plane in a team of 6-7 people.
• Worked extensively on Qubole’s strategic integration with GCP as a cloud partner, which helped in onboarding 30+ new logos.
• E2E ownership of an online archival effort from transactional DB to Analytical systems.
• This will bring down the DB size by 75%, thereby optimizing indexes and enabling migrations.
• The archival falls in the critical path of qubole's business and therefore had constraints around system availability, online migration, fail-safe and phased rollouts.
