As a SDE-1 at Uber, As a part of Central platform (Fulfillment and Fares) I develop and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions for various domains, such as ridesharing, food delivery, and mobility. I use my skills in Java and GoLang to code, test, and debug and to optimize the performance and security of the applications. I also collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as U4B, HCV etc to understand the user needs and deliver high-quality features and enhancements. Before joining Uber, I was a Software Development Engineer Intern at Acko, a leading digital insurance company, where I worked on developing and deploying microservices and APIs for the web and mobile platforms, using Java and Spring Boot. I gained valuable experience in working with cloud technologies, such as AWS and Docker, and in following the agile methodology and the best practices of software engineering. I graduated with a B. Tech degree in Information Technology from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow, in 2022. During my studies, I was a member of Axios, a student-led club that organizes and participates in various technical events and competitions, such as hackathons, coding challenges, and workshops. I also completed several online courses and projects on topics such as data structures and algorithms, machine learning, and web development, to enhance my knowledge and skills in the field of information technology.
