• Built a real time price update system for Walmart Mexico. The system allows merchants to do event item attribute changes in real time, which reflect instantly across all channels (Desktop, mWeb, Apps), all pages and all modules on website, with support for multiple overlapping events. Merchants can also schedule changes in advance. Used internal caching infrastructure built on top of Memcache.
• The project was built using Java Spring Boot and Java Rest API.
• Worked on orchestration layer using Node.js. This layer internally calls microservices pro-vided by backend servers. API Proxy is used to expose orchestration layer services over the internet and it will be useful in authentication and security as well. Orchestration layer will improve the efficiency of development to bring the new business requirements faster to market to meet the high-performance requirement.
