My journey in tech began by building applications (C++ you say? We speak the same language!). Working on the database side of things for reporting sparked a fascination with the world of data. This newfound passion led me to become a Database Engineer, diving deep into the world of MySQL. I tackled diverse challenges, from ensuring smooth ticketing systems to powering complex customer databases. MySQL became my playground, and I even dabbled in multi-format reporting and OLAP to push its potential. But the tech world is always evolving, and I craved a new challenge. Enter Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)! Leveraging my MySQL expertise, I transitioned to LinkedIn, where I now work as a Database Reliability Engineer. Here, my mission is crystal clear: keeping MySQL servers humming 24/7. To achieve this, I've become a Python pro, crafting automation tools to make life easier and MySQL more dependable.
