Anand Chaudhary — Consultant

A 2019 electrical engineering graduate from IIT (BHU) Varanasi, Anand has completed his post-graduate programme in MBA from IIM Bangalore. He'll be joining Boston Consulting Group as a senior associate in the coming summers based on the pre-placement offer he received for his performance as a summer associate in the summer of 2022. Before joining MBA, Anand worked at Microsoft as a software engineer in the OneNote Android team. He was responsible for revamping the inking experience on Android app and standardized Android experience on Microsoft's flagship dual screen mobile device for all of Microsoft's Android offerings. Anand was also deeply involved with the UX and PM teams and created a feature evaluation scorecard for new rollouts by working closely with engineering and PM. He was a core part of OneNote's transition to feed where OneNote pages and stickynotes were available across devices in the order of their recency. He worked extensively on Kotlin and also handled shared C++ code when necessary. He's loves problem solving and has taken part in multiple case competitions in MBA. Problem solving drives him towards consulting while his love for technology combines to form a deep passion for product management. He's maintained an excellent academic record and has a special inclination towards strategy and business models. He's done several projects as a part of curriculum ranging from improving processes at IIM Bangalore to live projects with Agri-producer platforms. He interned at BCG in the summer of 2022 with a large agro-chemical client streamlining it's global supply chain. He was awarded a PPO for his performance during the internship tenure. In his free time you can find him exploring food joints in the city, playing guitar or browsing YouTube endlessly. There is also an infinite stack of readings that he has pending and would love to catchup on someday.
