• Completely designed and implemented platform monitoring service from scratch in StorSimple Garda V1 product.
• This service monitors the health of all the hardware as well as software component of the product so that at any point of time customer would be able to know the health of the appliance.
• Also worked on automatic addition and removal of disks from StorSimple Garda device. The entire process is completely automated when a disk is added or removed from the system. The feature makes sure that storage systems come into healthy state and their health could be monitored from management portal.
• Also wrote an internal tool to query disks, controller or many hardware related information as well a s provide a way to run engineering CLI on appliance. This tool helped in testing the product as well as it is being used by different features of the product.

• I have worked with clone team of WAFL data management team. This team is involved in supporting file clone, lun clone and volume clone in WAFL file system. My role was to support existing features by root causing bugs, making fixes, unit test the fix, review the code of other developers and developing new features in the next release of the product. I developed clone autodelete feature which used to free up the spaces when volume usage goes above certain threshold by deleting clones in oldest to youngest order so that write gets served for the volume.
