Performed Site Reliability Operations including deployments for production and OAT environments, monitoring application & infrastructure health. Developed utilities, applications for AWS env & automation pipelines. Key work:
• Iteratively designed and developed an AWS cloud native solution for alerting in case of application and infra issues by raising incidents (via Netcool and Service First on-premise) and OpsItems in AWS OpsCenter with valuable key info. Enables SMS/email integration for Ops team. Enhanced Ops/support team's performance.
• Solution for backup and restore of a AWS Elastic File System (EFS) Volume (a single file or entire volume) to and from a S3 bucket. Integration with API gateway deployment helped in recovering from corrupt file(s) issue.
• Developed an automated solution for Backup and Restore (on demand & point in time) of AWS DynamoDB tables.
• Developed housekeeping utilities – for log files of a file transfer (python) & files of AWS Data Sync (bash) solution
• Beta testing of a new generation AMI for a existing AWS Elastic Cluster Service (ECS) service catalog product.
