• As a Senior Backend Developer at Falkonry, I led the design and development of several critical backend projects, significantly enhancing the platform's data management and reporting capabilities.

• Designed and developed the data model and API to organize and manage a large volume of signals using MongoDB for storage and Scala with Akka libraries for the API layer. This project improved the efficiency of organizing and searching signals on the Falkonry platform.
• Reporting System
• Developed the backend for a comprehensive reporting system that enabled the creation and visualization of time-series data reports. Leveraged existing APIs and data models to facilitate report organization and state management.
• Signal Time Series Data Storage Optimisation
• Innovated a new data storage model to optimize the handling of incoming signal data. By grouping signals based on data frequency, I improved storage efficiency using S3 and Parquet. This service, developed in Python with FastAPI, PyArrow, and Pulsar client libraries, included a compaction module to aggregate time-series data at various levels for improved performance and data retrieval.

• Designed and developed the user profiling system wherein a user's transaction and behaviour history was used to generate user profiles, based on which personalisation models would run and serve users with relevant content on the website and mobile apps.
