• Zomato is an Indian restaurant aggregator and food delivery start up. Zomato provides information, menus and user-reviews of restaurants, and also has food delivery options from partner restaurants in select cities.
• helped build a multi-stage email marketing tool backed by an email service having high throughput (~1M emails/hour) and low memory consumption. Improved this from legacy which handled ~0.2M emails/hour. Used by all other services.
• helped build and improved the email service(5x) which handled the backend of the frontend tool used by marketing team. The service was also responsible for handling and saving Zomato users email/notifications preferences along with click tracking, other different types of tracking and output them in form of usable information for user targeting. It resulted into 200%-500% increase in conversions (Zomato Gold is one of them).
• helped build an authentication and authorization service focused on Oauth2 capabilities. Helped designing the security architecture for authentication. One of the highest throughput services with minimal memory footprint.
• helped build a phone verification service.
• automated, pluggable software testing and pull request review for Go micro-services using a popular open source software that uses the container-first approach for CI/CD.

• Helped build a multi-stage advertisement tool which audits real-time ads rendering on a publisher's website backed by a analysis pipeline to extract attributes such as is the ad animated or does it play audio/video automatically by replaying the ad with a headless browser.
