Since the start of my career, I have worked as a backend application developer. I began my journey with CipherCloud as Software Engineer. Initially, I was part of the Gmail security service team. I looked after the tokenization of search queries and parsing of search results to remove partially encrypted texts. Later, I started working on CipherCloud's CASB platform. We implemented the cloud discovery and risk profiling module. It gave enterprises visibility to their cloud uses. After coming to Opentext, I proposed the use of Docker containers to automate the verification of the data migration tool. I continued my cloud technology learning and gained knowledge of Kubernetes on my own. I helped the team ramp up their Docker and Kubernetes skills. I delivered OpenText India level presentations on migrating applications to Java 11 and testing restful microservices using Wiremock. So far the most exciting task was designing & developing an application to track & aggregate real-time customer communication generation & delivery events. Other invigorating tasks were: - Building RabbitMQ consumers from scratch using Spring AMQP - Writing custom camel (Apace Camel) producer to integrate with OpenText Notifications service - Developing a Spring Data JPA application to connect multiple data sources at once - Breaking down a monolithic application to microservice - Writing installers using shell script - Writing Dockerfile to run HPE Vertica database on a docker container and many more. While I enjoy all aspects of my job like design, development, debugging, testing & troubleshooting. My favorite stage of a project is designing and discussing user requirements. As we go through that collaborative process, the ideas start to flow and that's always the fun part. I am passionate about large-scale systems and continuously enhancing my mastery of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures. I consistently focus on delivering what needs to be done.
