• As part of the founding team of JioCinema, I was responsible for building the Video Ad-
• vertising, Subscriptions, Monetization and Data Platform. The mission was to build India’s
• largest OTT platform to serve Indian Premier League Cricket - 2023 for all consumers for
• free. The platform was built over a period of 5 months with a goal to handle scale of 4 million
• concurrent users This was the first time SSAI/Targeted Ads were monetized at this scale in
• India for live sports. The ads platform was built using set of custom SDKs for ad-serving
• on Android ecosystem, a custom DMP was built to create well-defined targeting cohorts
• and provide campaign management capabilities - all of these were built using in-house tech-
• nology and with deep partnerships with Google Ads, Meta, Snap and content aggregator
• networks. Ad serving at massive scale was done via a multi-CDN architecture to control
• traffic distribution for each of the Advertising cohorts. Advertising revenue from IPL-2023
• was close to 168m USD Apart from the core Advertising platform, I was also responsible for
• subscriptions monetization, data and financial reporting platform as well.

• Twilio SendGrid is world’s largest Email platform in terms of scale. As the General Manager and Head of Product-Engineering for Twilio Email Platform (SendGrid), I was responsible for shaping the product and engineering vision across global teams. Progressively, my responsibilities expanded to encompass general management, including ownership of the P&L and oversight of certain aspects of the global go-to-market functions as well. During this tenure, I was also responsible for partnerships with ISVs (Microsoft Azure, Klaviyo)
• Led global teams of 1̃50 Engineering, Product Managers, UX, SRE and Program management
• at SendGrid. These teams were globally distributed across Denver, San Francisco, Dublin,
• Bogota and Bangalore. Built process frameworks for predictable execution and stronger
• outcomes across geographically remote teams. Grew and hired leaders of exceptional caliber
• across engineering, product and other functions
• In the additional role of the MD for India, started Twilio India Research and Development Center in Feb’20 and grew the center to 800+ employees spanning across Core R&D, Go-to-market, support and other support functions like HR, legal, finance, compliance etc. Twilio India is the largest R&D site for Twilio globally. I worked with Twilio CxOs in setting the direction and long term strategy for the site. Demonstrated early success with setting up 10
• large R&D functions and equally strong GTM functions
• Hired key leadership roles - Vice President Engineering, HRBP Director for Asia Pacific, TA Lead, Sr. Director of Global Services APJ, Workplace and Safety Head EMEA - help set their direction and created a site leadership council to drive combined site-level strategy.
• Established India as the strategic regional hub for the broader APAC. Built common strategic vision for the region in partnership with peers in Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney
