Dedicated Legal Counsel to SBI JV for both the credit card owning & processing entities & at corporate level other GE Capital India entities in consumer and commercial finance/technology/ credit risk/marketing/non banking financial services/operations. Been the first focal legal head of SBI Card JV and set up the in house legal department for the twin JV companies.
• 2. The role fulfilled included contract drafting & negotiations, legal risk mitigation & day to day substantial legal advisory work to all departments which included financial regulations based legal advice on formulation of new financial product offerings.
• 3. Conduct and management of a large volume of defense litigations across vast geographic spread in India at both trial and appellate courts including some of the major constitutional litigations, anti trust and financial fraud prosecutions.
