• I was responsible for creating Customer Experience Management software for the HomeAway Brand of Expedia. I was a senior member of a team of 6 full stack developers responsible for the development and maintenance of Customer Experience Management software written in Java, and maintaining a Spark and Kafka-based ETL pipeline that was used to load the related customer inquiry into DBMS, enforcing XP and TDD approaches was part of my responsibility as well.

• Worked as a Software Engineer for SlideShare (A LinkedIn product). Major project that I worked on was Dynamic Sitemap generator, where the entire user database needed to be stored as an m-way tree in a MySQL Database so that they could be used for sitemap generation. We were an early adopter of Agile, and XP practices and used TDD for minimizing production bugs.

• Worked for 2.5 years in Cognizant, Kolkata as Programmer Analyst in Banking and Financial System verticals. My responsibility was writing algorithms in core java to segregate financial products (Mutual funds, bonds) into different clusters and groups so that they can be suggested to potential customers to improve their portfolio performance. Tabular data for the products were stored in Oracle. Also wrote robust JUNIT test cases for all the different algorithms we wrote.
