• Launched Tier1 (Amazon website will be down if the service is down) new Cart Service. Every Cart request on Amazon goes through this service. Apart from Design, coded several modules of new Cart Service from scratch. Next time you shop on Amazon and add items to your cart, the service I created gets executed :)
• During peak traffic, the new Cart Service took ~30 millions requests per hour.
• Launched Tier1 Registry Service which handles dynamic registration of new modules and their order of execution in Cart.
• Helped migrate over 20 internal clients to the new service with 0 issues in production.
• Mentored 4 other engineers in the team.
• Rated best in the team in the appraisal cycle.
