• Myntra is India’s largest online platform for fashion and lifestyle products, acquired by Flipkart. Myntra has gross sales of more than 1 billion dollars with more than 15 million userbase.
• PPS - Payment Plan Service
• A customer while placing an order can choose a mix of payment instruments like Credit Card, Debit Card, Gift Cards, Wallets or CashBack Points(not applicable for market place items) supported by the items in the cart. On cancellation/return of an item, we should return the instrument mix that have been used by the customer while placing the order.
• We built PPS as the centralized service which takes care of payments in the complete lifecycle of an order. Since it is a mix of debit/credits on various financial instruments, the operations had to be atomic and idempotent. I designed and implemented the data model for returns and exchanges flow which had lot of corner cases like multiple exchanges, partial return, price adjustments in case the item was wrongly priced, tax adjustments etc.
• Address Service
• Designed and implemented try and buy feature which enabled the customers to try the clothes delivered and return them immediately to the delivery personel if they had any concerns. This involved lot of changes across different teams.

• Scaling the shopping cart
• Scaled cart to support at least 10x volume and reduced latency by at least 60%. For an e-commerce application cart is most active with high number of reads as well as writes. We made lot of optimizations and architecture changes to achieve the same. Key features being migration to Cassandra and caching.
• Revamping Address Service
• Optimized code for address service in order to reduce latency.
• Separated it as a micro service, migrated data to a new DB, added a new caching layer and cached data on apt criteria for faster access during high revenue days.
• Implemented various custom features for relaying the serviceability(promise time) information to the customer at order and individual item level.
• Implemented new apis for providing address information for internal users with role based access. This helped call centre professionals in resolving lot of customer support queries.

• Redbus is India’s largest bus ticketing company, acquired by Naspers. Redbus has gross sales of more than 1 billion dollars with more than 20 million userbase.
• I built frameworks for various aspects of the application. Workflow framework to automate service
• request handling. Performance logging for logging various metrics of the application. Analytics for providing intelligence to the end customers.
• I developed and delivered services for business functionalities like payment collections, cash recharge, credit management, cash card integration and sales data compilation. Tech stack was JVM based with Spring, JPA, Hibernate and MySQL.

• Feature in 4 projects:
• Project Title: Oracle FUSION- Product Development SOnGO, CEM
• I was responsible for the original specification, design/analysis and coding of SOnGo (Search On the Go) diffMgr tool. SOnGO diffMgr was used to upgrade customised application XMLs to different versions. I also worked on CEM (Customer Experience Management) for uniform access of all the services used by Siebel irrespective of the type of service (Workflow, Business Service, CRUD Operations). The main idea we focussed on was that workflows, CRUD operations are invoked as business service from outside world.
• I used Java, XML, DOM Parser, SOAP, Business Service.
• Project Title: Warranty Management Module - Product Development
• I was responsible for original specification, design/analysis of the Warranty Management module. I designed the complete data model for the system. I also had hands-on involvement by integrating OPA with the Warranty Management systems for Claims Processing.
• I used Oracle Policy Automation (formerly known as Haley's Rules Engine) and Siebel Webservices.
• Project Title: PRM OnDemand
• I was responsible for design/analysis and implementation of the PRM (Partner Relationship Management) application. I configured the main Partner business object and also linked it with other relationship like accounts, leads, contacts, partner membership and dealer.
• Project Title: eAuto Remarketing
• I was responsible for design/analysis and implementation of the eAuto Remarketing application. I configured pricing engine for vehicles which would consider customised attributes like geographic location, mileage, usage for pricing. I also configured automatic document generation engine from a template for generating receipts and uploading it to the dealer's profile automatically. I also implemented process for lease end communication between customers and OEM.
