• My team is responsible for the integrity of clinical data in order to improve compliance, patient safety, customer experience and optimize speed and cost in Pharmacy Operations. We support central services and tools that enable automation while ensuring data integrity in Pharmacy Operations workflows.
• Built the team from ground up and expanded it from 2 engineers to 10 engineers while growing team’s charter from 1 area (clinical reference data) to 3 areas (+ patient safety tech, policy tech)
• Defined charter, vision, strategy and roadmap across all areas of the team by working with customers and crossfunctional stakeholders and led team to deliver on the vision even in the absence of product guidance by taking up product and program manager roles when needed
• Drove project prioritization and delivery across 10 major launches by leading team to build 4 new services, 1 new framework and deliver major enhancements in 3 additional systems

• My team’s work focused on building services and tools to improve DynamoDB developer experience by making it easy to onboard to, integrate with and migrate to DynamoDB, a NoSQL cloud database service
• Led 13+ engineers across 10+ teams to support empty attribute values in DynamoDB by driving customer experience, design, development, testing and launch while working across entire DynamoDB service stack (10+ services, Console, SDKs)
• Led team of 9 engineers to reduce DynamoDB onboarding time for new developers from weeks to days by driving full software development life cycle from design to launch for NoSQL Workbench for DynamoDB, a cross-platform desktop application. Being Amazon’s first Electron framework-based client application and AWS’s first database workbench application, this showed the way for AWS to build similar tools for other databases
• Led 12+ engineers across 5 teams to build proof of concept for native multi-tenancy support in DynamoDB tables by driving the project end-to-end from design to delivery
• Led delivery of multiple ambiguous pieces as part of DynamoDB transactions launch to natively support multi-item ACID semantics by designing and implementing extensible integration between multiple internal services, error response contract for public API and security review for entire feature
• Mentored and guided other engineers to deliver and contributed to 8+ other projects including Server-side Local AZ Routing, NoSQL Workbench for Keyspaces and Data Model Advisor

• My team was responsible for central services and tools that enabled automation of financial activities for Amazon's transportation business including invoice creation, invoice validation and payments
• Led deprecation of transaction authority service and transfer of its responsibilities to other services in order to simplify transaction management and reduce costs (> USD 100,000 estimated annual savings) by driving design, implementation, testing, client migration and backfill for 30 TBs of data
• Built alignment to NOT pursue tiered storage solution saving 1+ year in development effort by conducting extensive experiments to confirm DynamoDB’s scalability and availability for our use-cases
• Optimized resource utilization in team’s biggest fleet to increase per host throughput by 33% by conducting extensive load testing analysis using Java profiler to identify bottlenecks and alleviating them
