• As an intern in the media.net division of Directi, I developed an anomaly detection system that analyzes hundreds of time series metrics and flags anomalous behavior. The system collects data streams from Graphite, analyzes them for anomalies using several statistical tests while taking into account the inherent seasonality of the data and presents the results in an interactive Flask based web app.

• During my internship at calm.io (formerly Idea Device Technologies), I developed a C library, SZMQ or Secure ZeroMQ. The library allows application developers to encrypt their data in transit when using the ZeroMQ messaging library. The library uses GnuTLS to provide Transport Layer Security and provides secure drop-in replacements for the existing ZeroMQ API calls. It supports request-reply and router-dealer connection patterns.
